As you add Templates to your Rule, Rule Designer will validate what you have added and provide feedback on the changes. Any errors it finds will be highlighted within red information boxes at to the bottom right of the Rule Designer screen.
Changes to a Rule can have a significant impact on the Rule and you can find yourself with lots of errors occurring at once. These errors are listed in Rule flow order from left to rightTop to Bottom. Where duplicate errors occur these will be deduped to simplify the view and make it easier to focus on what needs to be completed.
The error message will highlight the specific Tile that has the error and an indication of the reason for the error.

If you are making significant changes to a Rule, planning a Rule or know a Rule “Will” be broken you may choose to hide the errors while you finalise your changes and prep any new Templates. At the top right-hand side of the Rule Designer screen you can see the number of errors currently present. Clicking on the icon will hide the errors. Clicking again will show them again.
When changes are made to a Rule the Errors section of the ribbon bar will show that validation is occuring. You can still make further changes and work on the rule while it’s validating but it’s useful for the user to understand if the changes made at this point have been successfully validated and that no errors exist.
