The Templates screen shows the Templates available to you to build your Rules. The Templates available are governed by your user permissions and the Client and template type selections at the top of the screen.
Public or Templates belonging to mixed clients can be distinguished by the Client column.

The Templates screen has the following columns which are available through the columns selection option at the top right:

  • Icon - Icon to represent the Template and what it has been built to do.

  • Template Name: Name of the Template. Where a help link has been provided for the Template a ? icon will show. This provides a link directly through to help explaining what the Template is for. This is set when the Template is uploaded.

  • Client: Client holding the Template

  • Last Modified: When the Template was last modified. Updating the Template is a modification.

  • Version: What version of the Template is currently available by default (Rules may be running using earlier versions).

  • Parameters: Shows the Parameters that are contained within the Template. Clicking the number opens a popup showing the parameters it contains.

  • Data Grids: This shows the Data Grids that are contained within the Template. Clicking the number opens a popup showing the parameters it contains.

  • Inputs: Shows the Inputs to the Template

  • Outputs: Shows the Outputs from the Templates

  • Switch Cases - Shows the number of Switch Cases built into the Template

  • Service Cost - Shows the current service cost set for this template

Depending on how your Templates have been built they may contain logging and other non-core outputs. It's very unlikely that you will need to link other Templates to these Outputs, so we have provided the ability to turn these Outputs off in the Templates screen.

Simply right click on the Template to open the menu select the Outputs tab and deselect the Outputs that are not needed within Rule Designer. The same process works for Inputs. These can be turned back on again either here or in Rule Designer.
