Rule Operational Information including health
Provides information on how healthy your rules are:
Invokes: How many times has this Rule been invoked (Called via an API) since the statistics were last reset.
Timeouts: How many times has this Rule timed out since the statistics were last reset. Timeouts are likely to be caused by incorrect data being passed into the Rule from the calling system or a badly configured Rule.
Last Called: Date and time when was the Rule last called.
Health : The Timeouts and Invokes highlighted earlier are cumulative values generated since the Reporting Statistics were last reset. This provides a good general view of long term rule usage and health but does not show Rule health in the moment. The Health functionality provides this. Rules invokes, failures and timeouts are assessed each hour and an icon with text label will be shown to highlight current health based on the percentage of timeouts compared to failures and Invokes. Hovering over the icon will show the Status and current percentage rates for all three options. Clicking on the Health Icon allows you to click through the Operational Reporting or Logging to get a clearer view on what may be going wrong with the Rule. The Health Rules are triggered by these overall failure percentages. This includes timeouts and failures compared to invokes.
Green Icon “Good”- Less than 0.5 % Rule issues over the reporting period
Amber Icon “Concern”- 0.5% - 2% Rule issues over the reporting period
Red Icon “Warning” - Greater than 2% Rule issues over the reporting period
Data Health - How many Invalid data rows have gone through your Rule
Data Health - What Percentage of the Invokes of this Rule over the last full hour have included Invalid data. We compare Invokes to the Invalid data over the hour and provide a percentage success rate. Our bandings are:
Green Icon “Good”- Less than 0.5 % Rule issues over the reporting period
Amber Icon “Concern”- 0.5% - 2% Rule issues over the reporting period
Red Icon “Warning” - Greater than 2% Rule issues over the reporting period
Health/ Data Health: The Health and Data Health values are created from the number of Invokes, Failures Invalid data and Timeouts generated over the last full hour and whatever in the current hour has passed. The icons do not show if no invokes have occurred over this time period.
