We would recommend that Alterian DDE is used generously whenever people are exposed to your brand. The more we can glean from exposure or use of your brand the more effective and opportune your CX decisions will be and the more accurate your Journey visualisations.
Key to this process is identifying individual “People”. People is an all-embracing term and includes customers, possible new customers investigating your brand, users, internal staff and others. Each of these “people” will be interacting with your brand through DDE across multiple channels. A single person could use the call centre, website, POS, IoT and more.
The reason for their interaction with your brand will be specific to that person and what they are trying to achieve. To best identify patterns in behaviour we need to link together interactions from the same person whatever channel they are using.
To assist with the process of identifying individual people Alterian DDE comes with Identify management built in using a Public Template called Get CXID.
