Read Category Count
As we gather Category Information it’s useful to understand how an individual is interacting with a specific content group. Are they spending loats of time looking at terms and conditions for example?
This Public Template provides back actionable counts, highlighting whether people are interacting with a specific Category and provides back counts allowing you to understand the engagement level.
The Read Category Count Public Template is available to all customers but must be used in conjunction with the Category Lookup rule and Get CXID. To use it, pull the Public Template into your Rule after you have created your Category Lookup Rule. You will also need to map your Client and Target fields. This mapping may be automatic depending on the setup of your input step.
This rule simply uses any Category recieved from the Category Lookup Rule and the CXID from the Get CXID Public Template to provide back information highlighing interaction over hour, day and total time periods for this specific Content Group.
