With the release of DDE 2.1, Alterian is introducing updates to the Cache plugin and new rule best practice checking capabilities.

New Features

MULTI FIELD CACHE PLUGIN

This new feature allows multiple fields to be added to the cache in a single step. This makes the user experience better but also improves performance as it is a single call to add multiple entries - essentially it is now possible to add, update delete rows of cache data.

SPOON BEST PRACTICE PLUGIN

The new DDE spoon plugin allows for the automatic upload of rules but also a best practice scan of the rule prior to upload.

ONLINE HELP

DDE now includes a new online help link in the slide in navigation bar.

Fixes

  • Numerous fixes and performance improvements are also included in this release.
